Harris said that Portland accused her of being a lesbian and kicked her off the team.   Portland is out $10,000 and is on a pretty short leash. <\/p>\n<p>The public humiliation that Portland received from the incident is the real punishment. This will be used against her and Penn State in recruiting.<\/p>\n<p>Portland has been scrutinized for years over alleged anti-lesbian remarks and something has finally stuck. She appears to be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.centredaily.com\/mld\/centredaily\/14373971.htm\"><b>unrepentant<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\">&copy;MMX William F.
