\nWASHINGTON, D.C. — <\/strong>P Zach Day<\/b> promptly gave up a 3-run HR to the second row of section 455 last night and the tone for the game was set. He left with shoulder stiffness and went on the DL, having allowed six runs. Early on his sinker was hitting the dirt a lot.<\/p>\n

Despite the bad start, the Nats were in a position to tie it in the 5th. They got two runs and had the bases loaded with one out when 2B Jose Vidro<\/b> hit into a double play. The Nats would not threaten again and the bullpen gave up another four runs.<\/p>\n
