Santangelo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here is what my friend David, a Washingtonian living in the city of San Francisco, had to say about new Washington Nationals color commentator <strong>F.P. Santangelo<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He&#8217;s pretty good. I don&#8217;t know when he started at KNBR (Giants AM station), but I listened to his show a fair amount at night when driving home. I think I only heard him call one game though. We&#8217;re spoiled with <strong>Jon Miller<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>David&#8217;s endorsement is a strong one and he is spoiled with Miller. I still laugh at Peter Angelos for letting him go for not being a big enough homer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jim Williams<\/strong> of the <em>Wash. Examiner<\/em> talked to Santangelo&#8217;s former boss, ed Griggs the vice president and general manager of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\" http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/blogs\/watch\/2011\/01\/new-nats-fp-santangelo-will-be-missed-bay-area\">New Nat&#8217;s broadcaster F.P. Santangelo will be missed in the Bay Area<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then he spoke to the man himself:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/sports\/2011\/01\/jim-williams-santangelo-gets-analyzed\">Jim Williams: Santangelo gets analyzed<\/a><\/p>\n<p>From what I have heard, in addition to Miller, the Giants have a strong broadcasting team, so hopefully,  Santangelo has learned from them and will be giving us useful analysis, unlike <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yurasko.net\/wfy\/2010\/09\/why-rob-dibble-wont-be-doing-any-more-nats-games.html\">Rob Dibble, who got fired last season after 1 1\/2 seasons<\/a> of terrible color commentary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here is what my friend David, a Washingtonian living in the city of San Francisco, had to say about new Washington Nationals color commentator F.P.
