Paterno on CBS Evening News tonight<\/b><\/a> – CDT<\/i>
Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno<\/span> will be featured on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric<\/span> tonight.<\/p>\n

Senior news correspondent Byron Pitts conducted the interview, which focuses on the “Success With Honor” principles and values of Paterno and Penn State more than football.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Should be interesting to see how it turns out. It was done before the season began.<\/p>\n

UPDATE:<\/span> Here is the full interview<\/span><\/a> (recap<\/span><\/a>) that includes more than the TV story and is much more interesting. Not surprisingly, there is a little bit false modesty in there along with the Paterno charm that comes out for national media, but not local media.<\/p>\n

He might get himself in a little bit of trouble too for a few things he had to say.<\/p>\n
