Council Chairman Proposes New Stadium Plan<\/b><\/a> – The Post<\/i>

Seemingly out of nowhere, an 11th hour plan comes forward to build a ballpark near RFK, something I alluded to in a previous post today. This creates two really big questions <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Can they still get funding passed by the end of the year with this plan in the mix?\n
  2. Will this still be okay with MLB? This better not blow the deal.<\/ol>\n

    I think the original SE ballpark plan probably makes the most sense, but from what I have heard about this plan sounds okay too, provided it is still close to the Stadium-Armory Metro<\/b> station. Like many of us, I just want to see the team in D.C. to stay.
