The map&#8217;s creator, <strong>Lance Wyman<\/strong>, has suggested that the new Dulles Corridor line be colored &#8220;cherry blossom&#8221; (pink) for some reason.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wmata.com\/mapsurvey\">Metro is soliciting feedback about the redesign<\/a> which has some improvements in station naming and terminal stations. I&#8217;ll be sure to fill it out. Hopefully, there are fields where I can put in my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yurasko.net\/wfy\/2011\/05\/how-would-you-redesign-the-metro-map.html\">Metro solution is to use lettered (full line) and number (partial line) routes<\/a> and stick with the Silver Line for the Dulles Corridor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Barbara Richardson<\/strong>, Metro&#8217;s assistant general manager for customer service, communications and marketing, <a href=\"http:\/\/live.washingtonpost.com\/metro-executive-discusses-plans-for-new-map.html?tid=sm_twitter_washingtonpost\">chatted on washingtonpost.com this morning about the proposed map and survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Metro gets to work on \u2018transition\u2019 map &#8211; The Post A preliminary new design of the Metro map has been released.
