It looks like <strong>Gio Gonzalez<\/strong>. The rest of the rotation is undetermined, so we don&#8217;t know when Strasburg will pitch in D.C. Figure <strong>Jordan Zimmermann<\/strong> being #3 and Edwin Jackson #4. Will they start with a five-man rotation? Don&#8217;t be surprised if Gonzalez gets the home opener.<\/p>\n<p>Bryce Harper got sent down. He&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/nationals-journal\/post\/the-bryce-harper-narrative\/2012\/03\/19\/gIQAhuqkMS_blog.html\">more myth than reality at this point<\/a>. He needs to learn to hit lefties and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/sports\/nationals\/bryce-harper-centerfield-experiment-could-benefit-nationals-in-many-ways\/2012\/03\/20\/gIQADw7BQS_story.html\">how to play centerfield<\/a> which has Thomas Boswell&#8217;s (<em>The Post<\/em>) support.<\/p>\n<p>Bos also wrote <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/sports\/nationals\/phillies-toughest-opponent-might-be-father-time\/2012\/03\/17\/gIQANxXRJS_story.html\">a column about how the Philadelphia Phillies are getting old<\/a>. It is a great column to write because if the Phillies falter in the next 2 or 3 seasons, Bos gets to say &#8220;hey, I told you so.&#8221; I&#8217;m not going to write off the Fleas just yet, but they have problems like only 1 regular infielder being healthy.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for &#8220;Take Back the Park&#8221; games against the Phillies are coming in unadorned envelopes according to <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/JDLand\/status\/181842619746361344\">@jdland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of JD Land, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jdland.com\/dc\/visiting-nats-park.cfm\">here is a preview of the ballpark and neighborhood for 2012<\/a>. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/realestate\/near-nationals-park-a-neighborhood-is-emerging\/2012\/03\/05\/gIQAsOCTPS_story.html\">neighborhood is finally heading towards critical mass<\/a> after the economic downturn (<em>The Post<\/em>). Moving forward, let&#8217;s start referring to the Nats home and neighborhood by its historical name &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/greatergreaterwashington.org\/post\/14141\/meet-me-down-in-pipetown-dcs-neighborhoods-in-1877\/\">Blood Field<\/a> (<em>Greater Greater Washington<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2012\/mar\/19\/its-not-a-stretch-to-say-yoga-gaining-popularity\/\">Nats like Bikram Yoga<\/a> (<em>The Wash. Times<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.natsenquirer.com\/2012\/03\/is-it-ok-to-start-panicking-about-michael-morse-now.html\">Michael Morse<\/a> (<em>Nats Enquirer<\/em>) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2012\/mar\/18\/daly-adam-laroche-aching-for-good-health\/\">>Adam LaRoche<\/a> (<em>The Wash. Times<\/em>) are both hurting this spring training. That leaves first base for? Of course, neither was a factor last April and the Nats still won 80 games&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The Miami Marlins made more headlines in the offseason, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grantland.com\/story\/_\/id\/7712503\/stephen-strasburg-bryce-harper-rise-washington-nationals\">the Nats probably made more progress<\/a> &#8211; <em>Grantland<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll see those Marlins at my friend&#8217;s bachelor party in April. If there is a better bachelor party than a ballgame, I don&#8217;t know it. Fogo de Chao was pretty good though.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Myers, on the Gulf Coast in Lee County, can now openly court the Nats to move spring training there, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/article\/20120321\/SPORTS09\/120320016\/Lee-County-votes-talk-Washington-Nationals-about-moving?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|Sports&#038;nclick_check=1\">Viera wants to keep them though<\/a> (<em>Florida Today<\/em>). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.news-press.com\/article\/20120321\/SPRINGTRAINING\/303210024\/Can-Lee-County-afford-three-spring-training-teams-?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|Sports\">Can Lee County afford a third team though<\/a> (<em>Fort Myers News-Press<\/em>)? I have never been to spring training, so I don&#8217;t have much of an opinion. Viera has taken its knocks, but it is a straight (looooong) shot down I-95 and close to the Atlantic Ocean. Ft. Myers would have easier travel for the team. The downside &#8212; the minor league complex is separated by a few miles. I have already addressed the most important factor any move to Ft.
