Next time, perhaps.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">I think the definition of &#8220;all the way&#8221; has changed at Ben&#8217;s Chili Bowl stands. I don&#8217;t recall it always including shredded cheese and whiz. Next time, I&#8217;ll go without the cheese.\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/wfyurasko\/7073546561\/\" title=\"Hard Times nachos, Ben's Chili Bowl half-smoke (all the way) by wfyurasko, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5199\/7073546561_d03b667826.jpg?resize=500%2C375\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Hard Times nachos, Ben's Chili Bowl half-smoke (all the way)\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">Beer is still expensive.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">Good to see a few fellow bloggers out there.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\"> It was the first time I sat in the outfield, not bad, I think I prefer behind home plate in the upper deck.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">Metro ran well for me, no issues, but I booked it to Navy Yard station on the way out.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">I expected a much bigger ovation for <strong>Wilson Ramos<\/strong> during introductions and his first at bat.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\"> Always good to see co-owner <strong>James Brown<\/strong> was master of ceremonies. I still wish they could find something for <strong>Charlie Brotman<\/strong> to do.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">Teddy lost in a close one.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/wfyurasko\/7073548665\/\" title=\"Teddy comes in second to Tom by wfyurasko, on Flickr\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5197\/7073548665_2d93fd4772.jpg?resize=500%2C375\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Teddy comes in second to Tom\"><\/a><\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">The race was moved to left field <strike>to prevent <strong>Jayson Werth<\/strong> from interfering again<\/strike><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/dc-sports-bog\/post\/morning-pixels-teddy-loses-again\/2012\/04\/13\/gIQAJBzwET_blog.html\"> so both sides of the field could get the experience<\/a> (DC Sports Bog). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/reliable-source\/post\/another-nats-opening-day-another-vip-lineup\/2012\/04\/12\/gIQAaN8ZDT_blog.html\">Scott Ableman of Let Teddy Win was featured in The Reliable Source, <em>The Post<\/em><\/a>; good to see him too.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">Werth dropped November Rain as his at bat music too &#8212; good move. His first at bat was &#8220;Howlin&#8217; For You,&#8221; a major upgrade.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\"><strong>Ryan Zimmerman<\/strong> went with &#8220;We Are Young&#8221; which sounds like a college anthem. Speaking of Zimmerman, his off-field news may be why he played so poorly yesterday &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/reliable-source\/post\/love-etc-ryan-zimmerman-engaged-to-heather-downen\/2012\/04\/12\/gIQAbYsFDT_blog.html\">he just got engaged<\/a> (The Reliable Source, <em>The Post<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">Xavier Nady doesn&#8217;t bring much as a player, but he did choose one of the few decent Collective Soul songs &#8212; &#8220;Heavy&#8221; as his at bat music.<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">Maryland Governor <strong>Martin O&#8217;Malley<\/strong> was there and booed. Not me though, he supported DC baseball!<\/li>\n<li type=\"square\">Sections 418\/419 never filled in &#8212; I couldn&#8217;t get seats up there during the presale.
