Flood mapping and meeting the requirements of the historic district are causing the delay. Bellefonte is Centre County&#8217;s seat and is known for its Victorian architecture. The borough is just up the road from State College.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Kenny and Sue Kempton<\/span>, owners of the site, have indicated they will reopen Schnitzels Tavern, a beloved German-cusine restuarant  and bar that was part of the Bush House. If I recall correctly, much of Schnitzels was able to be salvaged after the fire. The Kemptons have not yet determined where a new Schnitzels will go and have opened up another eatery in the meantime. <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Erica<\/span> and I had enjoyed a meal or two at Schnitzels years ago. My friend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pointpark.edu\/default.aspx?id=1993\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Damon<\/span><\/a> tended bar there while we were at Penn State too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/website_3c1e0e40\/graphics\/technorati.gif\" border=\"0\"> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.com\/tag\/Bellefonte\" rel=\"tag\">Bellefonte<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.com\/tag\/Schnitzels\" rel=\"tag\">Schnitzels<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.com\/tag\/BushHouse\" rel=\"tag\">Bush House<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\">&copy;MMX William F.
