Tim Redding<\/span> gave up one run over three innings in relief. For a break from the monotony of spring training<\/a> (Booth Newspapers<\/span>), the game was played at night.<\/p>\n

Former commisioner Bowie Kuhn<\/span>, a native Washingtonian, died yesterday<\/span><\/a> (The Post<\/span>). It was on his watch that the expansion Senators moved to Texas. He defended himself in a 2005 interview<\/span><\/a> with Maury Brown<\/span> of Biz of Baseball<\/span>. Kuhn wrote a whole chapter in his autobiography to saving the Senators.<\/p>\n
