Yesterday’s matinee saw the best team in baseball continue to push the worst around. Jason Bergmann<\/span> became the latest starting pitcher to have a quality start and nothing to show for it. The Nats offense is just awful and there is no improvement in sight. The one offensive bright spot — 2B Felipe Lopez<\/span> hitting a home run for the second consecutive day. To put it in perspective, that is about as likely as 1B Dimitri Young<\/span> getting a stolen base two days in a row.<\/p>\n

Claudio Vargas<\/span>, who was briefly a National before Jim “pitching pitching pitching” Bowden<\/span> waives him pitched well, but had a no decision.<\/p>\n

This the point where I throw my hands up in frustration. Firefox just crashed on me — I feel betrayed. I lost just about everything. I’m going to try and build it back as quick as possible.<\/p>\n

I have not abandoned hope on THE PLAN yet. The pitching, of all things, gives me hope. Hopefully, I have not jinxed it.<\/p>\n
