That made me wonder if public ticket sales for that game had started, so I checked Temple&#8217;s Web site and learned that individual tickets for that game have not yet gone on sale. It looks like they will  be making extras available to season ticket-holders initially.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have a problem with policy; I can see where they are coming from in trying to keep as many tickets &#8220;in the family&#8221; as possible. Of course, the reality is those season ticket-holders will just sell them to Penn Staters. Regardless of that, Temple&#8217;s policy is a lot better than our supposed rival Pitt forcing people to buy tickets to an additional game in order to buy Penn State tickets. If you want to be a big boy, you have to act like one.<\/p>\n<p>Rutgers, circa 1995, had the best policy of all. Move the Penn State vs. Rutgers game to Giants Stadium and sell them to anyone with no strings attached. That is how I saw my first Penn State away game. I was a mere freshman at the time. Sadly, it was the only road game I went to that they won.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, I can get tickets to the Penn State vs. Temple game this season. The drive up I-95 to Philly is probably 3 hours shorter round-trip compared to Happy Valley. I have been lucky that I have seen three of the five Northeast Corridor games the Nittany Lions have played since 1995. I caught two at Giants Stadium and one at Boston College over the years. I almost went to another one in the Meadowlands, but that got nixed. I also caught one vs. The UVa.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\">&copy;MMX William F.
