P Jason Simontacchi<\/span> got into trouble in the fourth and fifth innings, giving up one and then two runs. The Nats came within one with Dimitri Young<\/span>‘s 2 run shot, his fourth, but Saul Rivera<\/span> gave up another two runs out of the bullpen. Ryan Zimmerman hit his fourth homer of the year to bring the Nats within one again. <\/p>\n

In the ninth with a runner on and two outs Cristian Guzman<\/span> walked, putting the winning run at first base. Zimmerman couldn’t get either runner home though, lining hard to left to end the game.<\/p>\n
