I&#8217;m not taking a position that it&#8217;s wrong yet. . . . We&#8217;ll wait till the issue is ripe for an audit.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.yurasko.net\/wfy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/I-276_tiny_pa.gif\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.yurasko.net\/wfy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/I-276_tiny_pa.gif?resize=60%2C50\" alt=\"Interstate 276, the eastern most number for the Pennsylvania Turnpike\" title=\"I-276_tiny_pa\" width=\"60\" height=\"50\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-21284\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.yurasko.net\/wfy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/I-95_tiny_pa.gif\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.yurasko.net\/wfy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/I-95_tiny_pa.gif?resize=50%2C50\" alt=\"Interstate 95, Pennsylvania shield\" title=\"I-95_tiny_pa\" width=\"50\" height=\"50\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-21291\" \/><\/a>Yup, it is all weird.<\/p>\n<p>I understand Pennsylvania being unhappy about having to build this connection since it was New Jersey that cancelled a nearly 30 mile stretch of I-95, but the Pennsylvania Turnpike should have built a connection with I-95 years ago anyway. The foot dragging has been going on for about 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>Also, weren&#8217;t toll authorities designed to avoid this kind of nonsense? Perhaps raising federal and state gas taxes by a few cents <em>might not be a bad idea either<\/em>.
