Micah Bowie had put together a solid 5+ innings, but <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Jon Rauch<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Billy Traber<\/span> couldn&#8217;t protect the lead out of the bullpen. Prior to their arrival on the mound, <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Saul Rivera<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Jesus Colome<\/span> each put in an inning of hitless work. I can&#8217;t help but think <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Manny Acta<\/span> over managed.<\/p>\n<p>The Nats prevented what would have been a rather devastating loss in the ninth. <\/p>\n<p>After <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Felipe Lopez<\/span> struck out, SS <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Cristian Guzman<\/span> singled to put the winning run on. <\/p>\n<p>3B <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Ryan Zimmerman<\/span> hit a ground ball in the infield that the Pittsburgh shortstop couldn&#8217;t field to get on. <\/p>\n<p>PH <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Ronnie Belliard<\/span> struck out swinging for the second out. <\/p>\n<p>RF <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Austin Kearns<\/span> drew a walk to load the bases. <\/p>\n<p>The third pitch of LF <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Ryan Church&#8217;s<\/span> at bat was wild and Guzman scored from third without a play. Times<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Despite the exciting finish, the sports sections seem <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/06\/06\/AR2007060601732.html\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">more interested<\/span><\/a> (<span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Post<\/span>) in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washtimes.com\/sports\/20070607-010113-2901r.htm\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">season ticket prices<\/span><\/a> (The Wash. Times) in the new ballpark. I suppose it is the bigger story.<\/p>\n<p>All lower bowl tickets will cost more than $25 while all upper deck tickets will cost $20 or less. The most expensive seats will by $400. Nats president Stan Kasten defeded the pricing as a way to keep prices lower elsewhere in the park. It is expected that the Nats will have ticket prices will be in the top 5 in MLB. Most curious to me are the $40 seats in what used to be called the bleachers. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/graphic\/2007\/06\/07\/GR2007060700134.html\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Graphic<\/span><\/a> from <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Post<\/span>)<\/p>\n<p>I saw on the video board something about a Negro Leagues exhibit, but I couldn&#8217;t hear it too well. It turns out that exhibit is at the Mayflower hotel downtown. P <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Ray King<\/span> was there with former Gray <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">James Tillman<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Sean Gibson<\/span>, who said was Washington was a second home for his grandfather <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Josh Gibson<\/span>. <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Sun<\/span> has more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baltimoresun.com\/sports\/baseball\/bal-sp.gibson07jun07,0,1167234.story?coll=bal-sports-baseball\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">column inches<\/span><\/a> on the exhibit. I&#8217;ll have to check it out.<\/p>\n<p>So, will you be watching the game at 1:05 today or the first televised MLB draft on ESPN2? The Nats have the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/06\/06\/AR2007060602798.html\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">sixth selection<\/span><\/a> (<span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Post<\/span>), along with four others in the first seventy picks. Of course, due to the nature of baseball player development, we won&#8217;t know if the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washtimes.com\/sports\/20070607-010105-5938r.htm\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">highly touted scouting operation<\/span><\/a> (<span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Wash. Oddly enough, I ran into <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Fritz<\/span>, who left in the eighth inning.
