\nARLINGTON, Va. —<\/strong> Among the things the Rosslyn neighborhood was known for circa 2001 was having the densest collection of tall buildings in the Washington D.C. area and being a “roll up the sidewalks at 5:30” kind of place. The neighborhood is still known for its tall buildings (even more are under construction) but the reputation as a dead part of town seems obsolete. <\/p>\n

Yesterday evening, I parked on Lynn Street, so I could bike across Key Bridge in to the District, and was delighted to see that the sidewalks of Rosslyn were full of people — the neighborhood felt alive. Back when I worked there, nothing happened after work. I’m really glad that it is becoming more vibrant, because it is a too good a location to be dormant.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
