Times<\/span>. Sure, they are not the worst in the majors (thank you Cincinnati), but when the minor leagues are included nobody does it better when it comes to losing. Should we be concerned? Sure, but remember the goal of the minor leagues is to develop players, not win. The people in Columbus, Harrisburg, Hagerstown, and Potomac might not agree with that completely though. Up in Vermont, they may be okay with the way things are going since the Lake Monsters have a winning record.<\/p>\n<p>The Nats head to Pittsburgh this weekend for a three game series. Few teams can match the host Pirates for losing over the last 15 years and the fans are rebelling by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.post-gazette.com\/pg\/07179\/797799-63.stm\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">staging a walkout<\/span><\/a> (<span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Post-Gazette<\/span>) during Saturday night&#8217;s game.<\/p>\n<p>I need this series, I am down 2 to 1 in a mayors bet with the Maryland Bureau Chief.<\/p>\n<p>Today, <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">John Patterson<\/span> will <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/06\/28\/AR2007062801965.html\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">finish his odyssey<\/span><\/a> (<span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Post<\/span>) to find a doctor who can correctly diagnose and treat his injured elbow.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Jim Bowden&#8217;s<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.com\/a-805401~Pursuing_draft_picks_with_a_sleeping_bag_and_Lucky_Charms.html\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">weekly dictation<\/span><\/a> in <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Wash. Examiner<\/span> was moved to today.<\/p>\n<p>Also in today&#8217;s <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Wash.
