President Bush<\/span> made his first 2007 visit to RFK Stadium<\/span><\/a> (nationals.com<\/span>) last night. Dimitri Young<\/span> said “about time he made it to a game.”<\/p>\n

Jason Bergmann<\/span> pitched 5 1\/3 innings last night, giving up 2 runs. He did not get a decision, because he didn’t get much run support and Luis Ayala<\/span> gave up two runs in the 7th. <\/p>\n

Nats remain powerless<\/b><\/a> – The Wash. Times<\/i><\/p>\n

Nick Johnson<\/span> is having hip problems<\/span><\/a> (The Post<\/span>) now.<\/p>\n

First round draft pick P Ross Detwiler<\/span> has signed with the Nationals<\/span><\/a> (The Wash. Times<\/span>). He will start off in the Gulf Coast League and then head to Potomac. If all goes well, he’ll head up to AA Harrisburg and possibly the majors in September. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.<\/p>\n
