UPDATE 6:03 p.m.:<\/strong> Mike Rizzo explains the how the decision was reached, but no timeline is included (Mike Rizzo on the decision to postone Nationals-Braves game<\/a> Nationals Journal, The Post<\/em>): <\/p>\n

Rizzo said the Nationals felt it was inappropriate to make a decision until all they gathered all the information from the unfolding incident and relevant team officials.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause of the [logistics] that go into this and the immense coordination that it takes to make these decisions with federal, state and local authorities,\u201d Rizzo said. \u201cIt\u2019s just a timely process.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
