In anticiption of the <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">The Simpsons Movie<\/span> in a few weeks, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Fox<\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.7-eleven.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">7-Eleven<\/span><\/a> join forces to re-branded 11 locations nationwide to look like Springfield&#8217;s leading convenience store.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li type=\"square\">I bought a six pack of Buzz cola, 2 boxes of Krusty O&#8217;s (one is a wedding present for my brother, I wasn&#8217;t going to stiff him), a blue (vanilla) Squishee and a pink donut. The total came to over $15. I don&#8217;t think anything was marked up.\n<li type=\"square\">The parking lot and store were full of <strike>losers<\/strike> people with cameras. They are probably making a fortune from this promotion.\n<li type=\"square\">Prior to Saturday, I had probably consumed no more than two Slurpees ever and the last one would have been during Reagan&#8217;s presidency &#8212; probably his first term. After having about half of my blue Squishee, I remembered why.<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/wfyurasko\/811574082\/in\/set-72157600822879159\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1332\/811574082_c63f037209.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li type=\"square\">Sprinkles are overrated on donuts.<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/wfyurasko\/810673409\/in\/set-72157600822879159\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1332\/810673409_3464d14b76.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li type=\"square\">I haven&#8217;t tried a Buzz cola yet &#8212; I may do it today. I&#8217;ll let you know how it tastes.\n<li type=\"square\">There wasn&#8217;t any <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Duff<\/span> for sale or <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Col. Kwik-E-Mart&#8217;s Real Kentucky Bourbon<\/span> proving <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/07\/13\/AR2007071301529.html\"><b>Marc Fisher<\/b><\/a> is right about Maryland being a nanny state.\n<li type=\"square\">I missed Jasper in the freezer.\n<li type=\"square\">I have no idea why Bladensburg was chosen as the D.C. area location instead of someplace in the District, NoVa, or Montgomery County. At least we got one though, unlike other deserving metropolises like Boston and Philadelphia. I guess this makes up for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yurasko.net\/wfy\/2007\/02\/where-are-our-mooninites.html\"><b>not getting Moonites in the District<\/b><\/a>.\n<li type=\"square\">The specific location is <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=4199+Kenilworth+Avenue&#038;sourceid=navclient-ff&#038;ie=UTF-8&#038;rls=GGGL,GGGL:2006-17,GGGL:en\"><b>4199 Kenilworth Avenue<\/b><\/a> (the right side of MD 201 NORTH) not far north of Annapolis Road (MD 450)\n<li type=\"square\">Even a corporation owned by someone as repugnant as <b>Rupert Murdoch<\/b> can do something right occasionally.\n<li type=\"square\">There were five guys with custom Honda&#8217;s parked side by side who asked Fritz to take their photograph.
