Examiner<\/i><br \/>\n<strong>ALEXANDRIA, Va. &mdash; <\/strong>This morning, not long after I turned onto Van Dorn Street southbound, I noticed the smell of something burning. As I approached Duke Street things started to get a little smoky and I wondered what was on fire. This afternoon, I learned from the article linked above that is the Wendy&#8217;s closest to my condo. As you can see in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/wfyurasko\/sets\/72157600906780416\/\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">my flickr set<\/span><\/a>, it was gutted by the fire.<\/p>\n<p>I may have gone to that Wendy&#8217;s three times over the last six years. Fritz used to near there for about five years, so I went there once or twice. I also went once while we were moving into our condo.
