Angelos, MLB Still Talking<\/b><\/a> – The Post<\/i><\/p>\n

“We are making every effort to get this matter resolved for the benefit of both teams and both communities,” Angelos said yesterday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Since when? Surely he cannot mean October, five months is ample time to come up with a deal that helps both sides. In his mind, what constitutes the “benefit of both teams?” Ridiculous. In yesterday’s The Wash. Examiner<\/i>, Jim Williams<\/b><\/a> suggests that fans call the Baltimore team at (410) 685-9800 and tell them “we want our Nats TV!” Be polite of course, but make your voice heard. I will be calling soon, though we probably have to wait until Monday to get a live person.<\/p>\n

Jim Bowden<\/b> was heavily influenced by mediocre-or-worse GM Syd Thrift<\/b> who was run out of Baltimore on a rail. While Thrift never got a square deal with the fans up there, he didn’t get the job done either. Then again, who could working for the owner up there?<\/p>\n
