ALEXANDRIA, Va. \u2014<\/strong> The first measurement of the morning shows an accumulation of 15\u00bd inches on the grass. Unofficially, there is 17 inches on the picnic table.<\/p>\n

The snow is fairly dry and powdery, so shoveling out a path from the front door wasn\u2019t too taxing. The path was quickly covered by new snow though.<\/p>\n
