Carroll H. Cook<\/span> (’54 Pitt) didn’t have a whole lot to say about Penn State this week and offered no insights.<\/p>\n

Brandon, Cleveland:<\/span> Beano, When Penn State wins in 2 weeks and knocks off OSU, will they start to get some love from media and pollsters again. Their 2 losses were do to their own mistakes and really should be undefeated, where do you feel they will end up!<\/p>\n

SportsNation Beano Cook:<\/span> You can say that about a lot of teams. Penn State has lost two games, period. I imagine mistakes cost a lot of teams in defeats. It would be nice if Penn State could prove something by beating Ohio State but first they must beat Indiana. The Penn State non-conference schedule is also a disgrace, by the way. The losses were to Michigan and Illinois.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Beano wants to see Penn State prove something? Interesting. He’s still correct about the awful non-conference schedule — Tim Curley, don’t you get tired of making Beano right?<\/p>\n

Tim (seattle):<\/span> I have so much respect for the job Coach Willingham has done and more so for the way he has done it? but can Willingham get the job done to satisify the fan base at UW?<\/p>\n

SportsNation Beano Cook:<\/span> Next year Washington’s non-conference schedule is BYU, Oklahoma and Notre Dame. You don’t get much done when you play that kind of non-conference schedule plus nine league games, many against top teams. You win big when you play non-conference schedules like Penn State and Ohio State.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
