My brother pointed out <a href=\"https:\/\/jus.tia.mybluehost.me\/website_3c1e0e40\/2010\/07\/review-chick-fil-a-spicy-chicken-sandwich.html\"><strong>that the Chik-Fil-A was the anchor store<\/strong><\/a>. He was correct. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Updated 12\/23\/2020: The food court didn&#8217;t even open until 1990<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter aligncenter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Landmark Mall appears in the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984, but the retail destination was actually dedicated in Aug. 1990. A new 3-story mall with 300K sq ft of retail space, food court, + 3-level garage was completed on the site of the original 1965 mall.  <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/WW84?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#WW84<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/HistoricALX2U?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#HistoricALX2U<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/g0B6enxl4H\">pic.twitter.com\/g0B6enxl4H<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Historic Alexandria (@HistoricAlexVA) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HistoricAlexVA\/status\/1341790793225408512?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 23, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can&#8217;t say whether the recreation is accurate, but it certainly captures the spirit of malls at their zenith. I suspect that like Val Kilmer playing a better Jim Morrison than Jim Morrison, <em>WW84<\/em>&#8216;s Landmark exceeds the real thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The present-day situation at Landmark is shown above &#8211; parking for Amazon vans and a homeless shelter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Redevelopment of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jus.tia.mybluehost.me\/website_3c1e0e40\/2007\/12\/the-only-way-to-save-landmark-mall-is-to-destroy-it.html\">Landmark has been talked about since 2007<\/a><\/strong>. I guess I should see the first movie if I&#8217;m going to see the second, because who doesn&#8217;t want to watch familiar places on <s>the big screen<\/s> your own TV?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus, it has <strong>Pedro Pascal<\/strong> from <em>The Mandalorian<\/em> as a villain and Sgt. Gatreer&#8217; kid as something other than <em>Zack Morris Capt.
