WASHINGTON, D.C. \u2014 <\/strong>On Friday, my 15 year-old and I biked over to the Navy Yard Harris Teeter where Washington Nationals player Lane Thomas<\/strong> was appearing. We got a quick photo with outfielder as well as Racing President, Abe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In passing, I mentioned to Thomas that I needed the Nats to take the series over the San Francisco Giants so I could have bragging rights over my friend in the Bay Area<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas said he’d take care of it, or something similar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A big weekend for Thomas, Nats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Nats won swept that series, a first since 2021, and Thomas came up big.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
