Does &#8220;clutch&#8221; even exist? In the world of sabermetrics, there is doubt about whether clutch is real. That kind of thing turns me off of sabermetrics; I&#8217;m not denying them as a useful tool, but getting too deep into them takes away some of the fun for me. It reminds me too much of STAT 200. Times<\/i><br \/>The newspaper will team up with MASN.<\/p>\n<p><b>GEORGE SOLOMON<\/b> &#8211; <a class=\"post-article-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/04\/05\/AR2008040502068.html?nav=rss_sports\/nationals\"><b>Washington&#8217;s Big 3 Came Up Huge<\/b><\/a> &#8211; <i>The Post<\/i><br \/>Solomon points out that Zimmerman, <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Alex Ovechkin<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Gilbert Arenas<\/span> all had big weeks.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, a few of the Southeast Division Champions Washington Capitals <a href=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/OnFrozenBlog\/~3\/265428657\/\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">will be at Nationals Park<\/span><\/a> (<span style=\"font-style:italic;\">On Frozen Blog<\/span>) for the ceremonial first pitch, lineup card duties and the &#8220;Play Ball&#8221; announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight is the first &#8220;regular&#8221; game at Nationals Park. There are concerns about getting there since this will coincide with rush hour. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/04\/05\/AR2008040502086.html?nav=rss_sports\/nationals\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Dr. Gridlock (II) addressed many of these concerns<\/span><\/a> in yesterday&#8217;s <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Post<\/span> column.
