Good morning! I overslept, so I can’t spend too much time breaking down a boring game full of bad pitching and defense. A healthy Tim Redding<\/span> gave up seven runs (not all earned) and the Nats couldn’t get the lead back. They came within one when I went to bed.<\/p>\n

Dmitri Young<\/span> has been a huge disappointment. Mr. Comeback Player of the Year is so fat he can’t play. <\/p>\n

Metro did fine with crowds for the second game in a row.<\/p>\n

THOM LOVERRO<\/span> – Nats praying for more fans<\/b><\/a> – The Wash. Times<\/i>
The crowd was announced at about 20,000, BAAAltimore type numbers, which is pretty poor. Perhaps all of the, scary <\/span>stories about getting to Nationals Park kept fans away. It will work itself out though. Right now, two of the “winter” teams are playoff bound, so that is taking some of the attention and disposable income away.<\/p>\n

RHP Shawn Hill<\/span> is rehabbing down in Prince William County tonight for the Potomac Nationals. The best-case scenario has him returning to Washington this weekend, but I’m not holding my breath.<\/p>\n

Chad Cordero<\/span> is also expected to get some work in down there.<\/p>\n
