I-99 set to open by year’s end<\/b><\/a> – CDT<\/i>
The latest update on i-99 progress — it is expected to open before the end of the year, but after football season. Parts of the new section may be limited to one lane each way until next spring too.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget that this delay may have been avoided had standard environmental testing not been exempted by a rider placed by Bud Shuster<\/span><\/a>, then chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, in an omnibus spending bill. By the way, Shuster has not responded to repeated inquiries from CDT<\/span> reporter Mike Joseph<\/span> to talk about this situation.<\/p>\n
