Hernandez Pitches, Slugs Nats to Victory<\/b><\/a> – The Post<\/i>
After a rough first inning, \u00a1LIVAN!<\/b> pitched the next seven. He gave up one run in the opening inning, but he got it back by hitting a 2-out solo shot in the 5th. Two other Nats, Jose Guillen<\/b> and Brian Schneider<\/b>, hit solo shots.<\/p>\n

The Nats scored five despite the top two spots in the order not getting hits. Nick Johnson’s<\/b> returned from his bruised left thigh<\/b><\/a> (The Wash. Times<\/i>), but his hitting streak ended at 16 games. Brad Wilkerson<\/b> did not get a hit either.<\/p>\n
