TESTING THE WATERS ON I-99<\/h2>\n

Rendell says I-99 cleanup won’t cost county later<\/b><\/a> – CDT<\/i>
PA Governor Ed Rendell states that the cost to clean up the pyritic rock that was uncovered during construction will not cut into funds allocated for other Centre County Transportation projects. Hmm, makes one think. I-99 was built with Federal Money (although this type of cleanup is usually handed back to the locality to cover). Levels of sulfate, aluminum, manganese, and iron in the waters is variable and potentially very dangerous. I know personally that the fish in my aquarium do not appreciate highly metallic or acidic water.<\/p>\n
