DE Aaron Maybin<\/span> officially declared for the NFL Draft, ending his Penn State career. Two scouts are quoted as being skeptical of this move, a feeling I share.<\/p>\n

We still do not know if Larry Johnson Sr.<\/span> will accept the offer to become Illinois defensive coordinator, but could learn more today.<\/p>\n

DE Maurice Evans<\/span>, who was a preseason All-American, is leaning in the direction of declaring for the NFL Draft. I have gotten the impression Evans thinks he was not treated fairly this past season and just wants to get Penn State behind him. He was busted for being at a party that had weed. Perhaps he was not treated fairly, especially in light of Anthony Scirrotto<\/span>‘s non-punishment, but Evans was should not have gotten himself in trouble in the first place.<\/p>\n

Green to miss spring practice<\/b><\/a> – The Collegian<\/i>
RB Stephfon Green<\/span> will miss spring practice after surgery for a dislocated ankle, suffered late in the Rose Bowl. Green had a similar injury in high school.<\/p>\n

RB Evan Royster<\/span>, who suffered a knee injury early in the Rose Bowl, is not expected to miss spring practice.<\/p>\n
