Just a review of the revelation that 19 year old Esmailyn Gonz\u00e1lez<\/span> is really 23 year old Carlos Alvarez Daniel Lugo<\/span>. To say this is a colossal screw-up on about every level would be an understatement.<\/p>\n

If the report is true, this incident should cost Nationals general manager Jim Bowden, who has enjoyed the protection of his buddy, owner Mark Lerner<\/span>, his job.<\/p>\n

Even if Bowden had no knowledge of any scam, it happened on his watch and marks yet another embarrassment for a franchise that already is the laughingstock of baseball.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I was hoping for an outright call for Bowden’s job, but this will have to do for now.<\/p>\n
