For Nats, Another Bad Turn<\/b><\/a> – The Post<\/i>
Small things add up in Nationals’ loss<\/b><\/a> – The Wash. Times<\/i>
Jordan Zimmermann<\/span> didn’t have it last night, lasting only four innings. He gave up four runs. The defense was worse though, three errors. Out of the bullpen, Juli\u00e1n Tav\u00e1rez<\/span> was dreadful as well,walking two batters and getting charged with losing run. Eight men were left on base. Yet, because of Ryan Zimmerman and Josh Willingham homers, the Nats only lost by a run.<\/p>\n

Last night’s game was the halfway point of the season. Washington has a 24-57 record — not historically bad, but pretty awful in general.<\/p>\n
