He believes that taking a job as special assistant to Toronto Blue Jays general manager <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Alex Anthopoulos<\/span>. It should be noted that Anthopoulos was an intern in Montreal that Brown gave a full time position. There is a lesson there I suppose. <\/p>\n<p>The Blue Jays requested permission to speak with Brown about the job. It sounds like Brown left on good terms. He had been with the franchise since 2002. Possible successors include crosschecker <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Kris Kline<\/span>.
