Then, I saw that Jinxy, <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Dave Jones<\/span> of the <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Patriot-News<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.pennlive.com\/bobflounders\/2009\/12\/capital_one_bowl_staff_predict.html\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">predicted a Nittany Lions victory<\/span><\/a> as well. Uh oh. Midstate Man is going to be really upset.<\/p>\n<p>Penn State has the better defensive line and maybe an even better offensive line, if that can be believed. The Nittany Lions also have a better, more experienced quarterback in <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Daryll Clark<\/span> who has his legacy on the line whether he likes it or not. LSU has better wideouts, but Penn State&#8217;s are not too shabby. They also have the advantage of having played on less than ideal fields and the turf at Florida Citrus Stadium or whatever it is called, is awful. That favors Penn State. The blue and white also have better linebackers, but the Tigers have the better secondary. The one major mismatch &#8212; LSU return man Trindon Holiday. He is scary fast, as in 100 meter sprint champion fast. Kick away from him and he can&#8217;t hurt as much. P <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Jeremy Boone<\/span> needs to be on his game today.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of what Jones says, I am sticking to my gut and predicting a victory for the Nittany Lions.<\/p>\n<p>PENN STATE 23<br \/>LSU 17<br \/><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\"><br \/>GEAUX STATE, BEAT TIGERS!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/website_3c1e0e40\/graphics\/technorati.gif\" border=\"0\">  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.com\/tag\/PennState\" rel=\"tag\">Penn State<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.com\/tag\/NittanyLions\" rel=\"tag\">Nittany Lions<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.com\/tag\/collegefootball\" rel=\"tag\">college football<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.com\/tag\/LSUTigers\" rel=\"tag\">LSU Tigers<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technorati.com\/tag\/CapitalOneBowl\" rel=\"tag\">Capital One Bowl<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\">&copy;MMX William F.
