Every year, there is the first day that it feels like football. Last year, it came really early, on August 6<\/b><\/a>. Yesterday morning, walking to my car, the air was full of with the sights, sounds, smells, and feel of early autumn. At last, I knew I was ready to return to the alma mater to see them play football. It is just a week away.<\/p>\n When I got to work, I mentioned to a co-worker that I felt football season and we started talking about it and all things that come with it, especially tailgating. He agreed that he was ready too.<\/p>\n The CDT<\/i> has their first big preview of the season today. They also report that Paterno had an informal chat session<\/b><\/a> that covered topics not related to Dan Connor<\/b>. Speaking of Connor, he is practicing with the squad, but has lost his first team spot.
