I think up until at least 7 p.m. June 8, the optimism in D.C. will be at just about an all-time high for baseball. Maybe June 2005 was higher. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/joeposnanski.com\/JoeBlog\/2010\/06\/01\/bryce-is-right\/\"><strong>Joe Posnanski is a bit skeptical<\/strong><\/a>, but would make the pick.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/voices.washingtonpost.com\/dcsportsbog\/2010\/06\/keith_law_hasnt_seen_anything.html\">Keith Law is excited<\/a> about Strasburg (DC Sports Bog, <em>The Post<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Barry Svrluga<\/strong> is going to spend the next ten days posting about the Nats big &#8217;05 winning streak. <a href=\"http:\/\/voices.washingtonpost.com\/nationalsjournal\/2010\/06\/the_streak_a_daily_look_back.html\">T<strong>he first entry includes a where are they now with Gary Bennett<\/strong><\/a>.
