Year 1 of the Washington Nationals ended yesterday with a 9 – 3 loss, but that hardly mattered, because it was a much better year<\/b><\/a> (The Wash. Times<\/i>) than we could have reasonably expected. While it would have been great to beat the Phillies at least once in this series to get above .500, just having a .500 team was good enough for this season. This was the goal from day 1 in Philadelphia<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Over the next few weeks I am going to put all my thoughts about the season together; I just don’t have time now.<\/p>\n
