Thankfully, <a href=\"http:\/\/dc.metblogs.com\/\"><b>Metroblogging DC<\/b><\/a> captain <b>Tom Bridge<\/b> works downtown and <a href=\"http:\/\/dc.metblogs.com\/archives\/2005\/12\/noontime_rally.phtml\"><b>reported from the rally<\/b><\/a>. He indicated that people supporting the project far outnumbered those oppossed to it. Great work Tom!<\/p>\n<p>In an interesting turn of events, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcist.com\/\"><b>DCist<\/b><\/a> has posted an Opinionist piece by <b>Vincent Morris<\/b>, the mayor&#8217;s spokesman, called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcist.com\/archives\/2005\/12\/19\/opinionist_approve_the_stadium_lease.php\"><b>Approve the Lease Already!<\/b><\/a> Not surprisingly <b>David Cantiana<\/b> (I-At Large) has the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcist.com\/archives\/2005\/12\/19\/opinionist_reject_the_stadium_lease.php#more\"><b>counterpoint<\/b><\/a>. Good job by DCist getting these two to go on the record.<\/p>\n<p>Morris makes some excellent points as he breaks down the costs. Cantiana says the team could move to Virginia in ten years.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, another Williams &#8212; <b>Jim Williams<\/b> of <i>The Wash. Examiner<\/i> has <a href=\"http:\/\/dcexaminer.com\/articles\/2005\/12\/19\/columns_sports\/jim_williams\/001_col_williams.txt\"><b>a column<\/b><\/a> in today&#8217;s edition about the ballpark. He predicts an 8 &#8211; 5 win for the ballpark, which scares me to no end, since Williams is rarely right.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\">&copy;MMX William F.
