Stephen Strasburg returns, and the Nationals hold their breath<\/b><\/a> – The Post<\/i>
\nIt seems the Stephen Strasburg<\/strong> hype has died down considerably after the rookie’s first trip to the DL — good seats still available. I have little doubt that the walk-up crowd will be strong today.<\/p>\n

Replacing the hype is the debate over Strasburg’s arm motion. Some, like Chicago White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper<\/strong> thinks the delivery will result in arm problems. Others, like pitching mechanics expert Dick Mills<\/strong>, a former Boston Red Sox pitcher, disagree. Mills has consulted with two kinesiologists and two biomechanists who concluded that Strasburg was not similar to Mark Prior<\/strong> or Kerry Wood<\/strong>, two wunderkinds who blew out their arms early.<\/p>\n

As for tonight’s game it is the start of a 3 game series with the 4th place Florida Marlins. It is also “Andre Dawson Night” even though Dawson never put on a Washington uniform. His name will be added to a ring of honor that includes Washington Senators and Homestead Grays players, in addition to the Montr\u00e9al Expos.
