Today’s big news is Jim Bowden had his contract extended<\/b><\/a> (The Post<\/i>) for the rest of the year, not long after throwing a tantrum about how poorly the players he signed were playing. How schrewd of you Jimbo. <\/p>\n This makes me mad, even though I know it is the only way. I can only hope on the last day of the season there is an owner who can fire Bowden Boss Hog style, by ripping half of his shirt off like Jefferson Davis Hogg would when he was firing Cletus or Ennis. I guess it would work better if Bowden wore a badge for the owner to grab on for this procedure, though I bet he could be convinced.<\/p>\n Oh no, I just referenced Dukes of Hazzard in a post. I guess rural-American culture must still be the zeitgeist — d’oh! Um, I wish I could quit you, um that doesn’t work. If this does not stop pretty soon I’ll start thinking Wal-Marts and T.G.I.
