I really enjoy that we have decent bicycling infrastructure and culture in the greater Washington, D.C. area. While infrastructure is a work in progress, the culture is already pretty good.
Part of this culture is the many group bike rides the regularly take place. I decided to compile as many of them as I could find. I have joined several of them from time to time and always enjoy the experience.
The first Wednesday of every month, thousands of cyclists meet at Dupont Circle to ride together along District streets. The route is posted less than 24 hours before the event. During the warmer months, there is a mid-point party with a DJ.
