Nats Seek Opponent For RFK Exhibition – The Post
An exhibition game is scheduled for April 3 at RFK with proceeds going to a foundation for D.C. youth the team will set up. The catch is that they do not have anyone to play yet and may have to have a college team come in. I think that they could just play pepper for a few hours and get a good crowd this year. Next year, hopefully they can get another team or even a split series with the Orioles. Just imagine, the Nationals invite the Orioles and they don’t accept, bloggers like me will get to post headlines like “O’s to DC kids: Drop Dead.” Yes, sometime this blog is ultimately just an outlet for my yellow journalism tendencies…
