Nats Topple O’s In 1st MeetingThe Post
Desmond’s Three-Run Triple In Ninth Caps Exhibition Win: Nationals 9, Orioles 6
I caught bits and pieces of the game yesterday, but I missed the exciting stuff. It does not really mean anything, but I will take any victory over Peter Angelo$ that I can.

Mayor Tony Williams and Jack Evans (D, Ward-2) were in attendance, which is great except for the fact that they were at Baltimore’s spring training in Ft. Lauderdale instead in Viera where the Nats train. While, I understand Ft. Lauderdale is a whole lot better than the cowtown that Viera apparently is, they need to spend their money where it helps the Nats, not Baltimore. Very odd.
