Thomas Boswell – Nationals, Orioles Are Getting Their Fill – The Post
Bos is giddy, but I see no need to bring that subsidized team into the column; it kind of taints it for me.
Guzman moves up in lineup – The Wash. Times
Cristian Guzman is hitting .114, but was moved back to second in the order anyway. The one at-bat I heard was vintage Guzman, a groundball out on the first pitch.
Dick Heller – Something special in the works? – The Wash. Times
Another “how good are they?” column. This is a great start, but I have to wonder how long it can last.
Tony Kornheiser – Cluck if You Love The Nats – The Post
Kornheiser made it to a few games and generally likes what he sees. This column was not too sarcastic, for a change.
Loaiza steady in start for Nationals – The Wash. Times
This article says he was steady. In Boswell’s column, Loaiza said “I had nothing, but I battled.”
WHAT DOES LISA TURTLE THINK ABOUT OUR NEW MASCOT?
