I just joined dc.metblogs.com, which is a group blog about living in BeltwayLand, this week. It is part of a large Metroblogging network that has sites all over the world. I have already started posting (as WFY, oddly enough) on it.

Unlike some area blogs, dc.metblogs.com is not overrun by sanctimonious, self-loathing hipsters who seek to enlarge class/economic/regional divides in order to feel better about their decision to live in the District. The bloggers on dc.metblogs.com includes folks from in and outside the city who realize living here does not mean you have to limit yourself to a few square miles. What a concept!

I will be posting at least three times a week. There may be a little bit of crossposting between WWN and dc.metblogs.com, but probably not much. So far, I already have two posts up.
