Mayor Outlines Concerns Over Stadium
Mayor Anthony Williams indicated that it may be tough to get the council to approve the ballpark lease if MLB does not chip in some money or a $24 million line of credit in case of a prolonged stoppage in play (i.e. terrorism, weather, strike). The entire council is meeting with Jerry Reinsdorf today, so there could be some fireworks.
