Cool Heads, but Cold Bats – The Post
For the second day in a row, the only run the Nats could muster was a homer. This time it was Jose Vidro, taking Pedro Martinez yard.
The team got a decent outing out of Tony Armas Jr., 6 IP 2 ER on 96 pitches. Hopefully he will be able to keep it up.
There were no batters hit by pitches, but that is hardly surprising.
Attendance was just under 30,000, quite respectable.
