In a game that snuck onto Comcast via Superstation WGN, Ramon Oritz pitched well enough to get his first curly W, the offense hit three homers (Dutch!, Damian Jackson, Alfonso Soriano) off of Kerry Wood, and the bullpen held on for a 5-3 win to avoid the sweep. Chad Cordero had a vintage save — putting a couple of runners on before shutting the door. A gold star for Mike Stanton who got a crucial 1-4-3 double play to end the sixth inning.
